Each of the past three years we have been able to celebrate the Fourth of July with a church-wide cookout at our home. About 85-90 people were able to come this year! Corey and I provide the barbecue, and our church members bring a ton of delicious food to go with it!!! We always have a contest between the men to see who can make the best desserts. Congratulations to the first place winners, Bruce Alexander for the "Most Patriotic" and Jimmy Barrett for the "Best Tasting." The "Cookout at the Cains" has been a fun tradition that we've really enjoyed, and some of our family was able to join us this year as well! Afterward, some of us headed to our new church property and enjoyed fireworks! This picture is of our veterans...Thank you for the sacrifices each of you made for us and for our country! As Corey prayed last night, he said that we are reminded that freedom is not free. I am so grateful for the men and women who have fought in the past and are fighting now to protect our freedom. Our freedom from sin was not without unmeasurable cost either. Let us not forget that it is only by God's grace that we are free!

Looks like a lot of fun. When you guys are remembering our servicemen, please pray for Lee's ( Tori's hunband) brother. He is in Iraq now ( Marine Corp). Love you guys.
